Heaters

Air Heater

An air heater uses an open coil of heating element, placed inside the metal sheath to heat up the air directly. The coil is positioned in such a way that it occupies maximum possible volume so that the heating can be achieved in the entire flow field. Its design and direct heating method results in highly efficient heating and faster heat up times. Heaters are also covered by thick layer of insulation on the outside, to trap the heat and reduce the losses. Its construction is compact, light weight and is also the most economical than any other type of heater.

It is constructed of high grade nickel chromium wire coils, evenly wounded on insulation sheet, placed in center of a metal sheath, and electrically isolated using a layer of insulating material wrapped on the inner side of the sheath. These heaters are widely used in hot air dryers, hand dryers and in many other applications.

CONSTRUCTION:

1.Nickel Chromium Resistance Wire coils evenly wounded for even heat distribution and maximum heater life.

2.Mica Sheet which are dielectric, lightweight, resilient and stable at high temperature is used for holding coils in place.

3.Mica Insulation having dielectric property to isolate high resistance coil from the sheath.

4.Stainless Steel Sheath used for corrosion resistance and high strength.

5.Teflon coated control cable & thermistor cable for superior insulation and suitable for high voltage application.

6.Glass wool insulation for high thermal resistance with low thermal conductivity.
